The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce is happy to announce that its new member, Jinn’s Fresh Noodle House and Café has scheduled its official ribbon cutting for February 8th, at 4:30PM.

Allen Chen, the owner of Jinn’s Fresh, was born in Mainland, China. Mr. Chen has 18 years of experience in the restaurant industry. As a teenager, Allen showed his interest in cooking and eagerness to become a business owner. In 1998, his family moved to Canada and Mr. Chen had intensive professional training with a Hong Kong chef master. In 1999, Mr. Chen moved to the USA to work in a Chinese restaurant to learn the operational aspects of running a Chinese restaurant. In 2003, Mr. Chen owned his first restaurant in Mississippi. In 2007, Mr. Chen opened a restaurant in Old Saybrook in CT. In 2015, Mr. Chen started Jinn’s Fresh in Fairfield, CT.

Allen Chen has passion for the restaurant industry. His hobby is to cook and try different flavors and create his own unique dishes. Mr. Chen’s vision is to build a bridge between American and Asian cultures, by sharing healthy and wonderful food, as well as promote the Chinese food culture which has 5000 years history. Mr. Chen’s dream is to let people really know, and understand, the beauty of “authentic” Chinese food.

  • What make Jinn’s Fresh different from the other Chinese restaurant?

  1. From the name, you can tell Jinn’s focus on is on “FRESH”. The restaurant guarantees the use of fresh cooking oil and foods: seafood, meat, veggies, etc. And, all noodles are made at the same day to serve.

  2. Provides the healthiest food to customers. Jinn’s Fresh guarantees no MSG, low sodium and less sugar. They try to use all nature material to make all the food. In November, 2015, the Chinese Olympic Worldwide Champion National Swimming team (around 30 people who always Place the 1st or 2nd place in Olympics ) came to Norwalk, CT to take one month intensive training. They have very strict food standards for all the team members, and they appointed Jinn’s Fresh as their ONLY restaurant for eating 3 meals every day.

  3. For the Chinese community in Fairfield county, and in Chinese social media “Wechat”(similar to Facebook), Jinn’s Fresh enjoys the best reputation. In June, 2015, six Chinese restaurants participated in a food competition for the largest Chinese school (1300 students) in White Plains, NY. After a parent vote, Jinn’s Fresh ranked the 1st place among all the competitors.

  4. Jinn’s Fresh is a community-oriented restaurant, supporting a variety of causes to help those in need.

“February 8th is the first day of the Chinese New Year … and scheduling the ribbon cutting on that first day, means Good Fortune”, says owner, Alan Chen.

The ribbon cutting, by First Selectman Mike Tetreau, will begin promptly at 4:30PM. Everyone is invited to attend the ceremony to help celebrate their official ribbon cutting.
